A Full Weekend!

We had a great weekend and I don't think we could have squeezed anything more into it. Friday night we finally had our neighbors across the street, the Fuseliers, over for dinner. We had been wanting to do this for some time so we just put it on the calendar at the beginning of February. We grilled out burgers and let the kids play. Saturday morning we left the house just after 8:30 a.m. and headed to Dallas for a birthday party. Now, this wasn't just any birthday party, it was Sophia's birthday party (Allie's cousin). Allie was ready to go the moment she woke up. It's a two hour drive to Dallas and Allie kept telling Justin to hurry but drive safe. Allie was excited to see her cousins Sophia and Julian and had a great time playing with them at the children's museum. Sophia's cake was adorable- a pig made out of cupcakes.

After the party we were going to try and visit Pop, run by the mall to go in one store and then head back to another birthday party in Waco. We were getting ready to call Pop when Allie began to get really tired, needed to potty and wanting something to eat. We stopped for what we thought would be a quick burger but evidently there was some kind of cheerleading/dance competition and things did not move quickly! We should have let but after you wait for a little while you hate to leave and start over some place else. Needless to say we lost just over an hour there!!! In 7 1/2 years I've only seen Justin become impatient 3 times but we did get a discount on our meal. We ran to the mall, returned some pants, then headed to Waco for the next party. It was at Jumping Party, of course, and we pulled into the parking lot at 5:25 (party started at 5:30). Erika (the birthday girl), lives down the street from us and comes over to play with Allie. After the party, we headed home and by 10:15 everyone in the house was asleep!
