Last Day in the World...Epcot

Our last day at Disney World wasn't as fast paced as the others. We actually went to breakfast on this morning since it was beginning to rain a little. We headed to Epcot to ride and see things we didn't have time for the other day. Of course, we rode Soaring again along with Test Track. We took in a few shows and rode Spaceship Earth before heading to World Showcase. We tasted some great desserts in France, enjoyed watching Chinese acrobats, used the restrooms in Germany and rode the Maelstrom ride in Norway. The week really started catching up with the kids as Blake and Allie snoozed through several countries. After our last time for shopping we headed to the Grand Floridian for dinner at 1900 Park Fare. It was a shame to be in such a nice hotel when we had been in the rain all day and were not looking our best but Blake and Allie had fun seeing different characters. I think we were all tired of the princesses by this time.

As soon as we walked into Epcot Daisy and Stitch were coming out to take pictures. We were first in line.

After watching the Chinese acrobats we walked out and there was Mulan. This was the day for characters with no lines! The light, constant rain helped with crowds too.

At the Grand Floridian, Blake and Allie were chosen to go dance. This was actually a very relaxing meal. They had Cinderella and Prince Charming along with the wicked stepmother and stepsisters.

We headed back to our hotel after eating. We had tons of packing to do! We also had to be up by 6:00 a.m. to take the shuttle to the airport. We flew to Atlanta, said bye to Blake, then headed on to Texas. It was good to be back home. I think everyone was exhausted but it was a wonderful trip.

Magic Kingdom Day 2!

I'm determined to finish up blogging about our Disney World trip back in Sept. 2009. Our 2nd day at the Magic Kingdom was a full day. We rode as many rides as possible before our appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. That night we went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party and hooked up with the Jantzes. I think we broke a record for the number of rides riden in one day!!

At first Allie didn't like driving at the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway but she got the hang of it and loved it!

I couldn't believe what all the "fairy Godmothers-in-training" did with her. She was definitely treated like a princess!

It was still hot out and since they were going to be riding rides, Allie decided to wear her princess gown instead of her Cinderella costume (Blake wasn't interested in dressing up so he wore his Pirates of the Carribean glow-in-the-dark shirt).
