Once again here is another picture heavy post. I'm trying to get caught up to the present time. Out of 297 pictures, I have narrowed it down as much as possible. I had forgotten what Colorado was like during the summer months since it has been 3 years since we spent time there in the summer. Ahhhh, not only was it a great, GREAT, relief from the 100 degree temps here but the views and activities were breathtaking. Allie loved playing in the backyard and there was no need for a swingset or trampoline with all the wildflowers, rocks, mushrooms, hills, sticks...! The views and temps make you want to be outside all the time. I had thought about not returning with my wonderful husband when it was time to go but he won out in the end! It has been decided that next year, Allie and I will move up there for the summer:) Nothing like roasting marshmallows, hotdogs, drinking hot chocolate, hot tea, and wearing a fleece all the time surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Did I mention this was in July! Yes, we will return!!

just some of the beautiful scenery

on a hike with Justin

We got to be there over the 4th of July and spent time with some cousins. The kids actually put on a play titled, "The Three Play." I didn't get pictures but I did video it for use when they are older! Caleb was hilarious with his scripture memory act.

Allie loved explaining to Caleb that she was older than him and that she always would be. For once, she was the oldest child in the group.

picnic outdoors
Ok, here start the collage pictures. Just click on the collage to make the picture bigger.

Justin and I got to go on a hike without Allie. It was beautiful and we enjoyed a picnic lunch with a pesky chipmunk.

Allie disappeared for a while but was found out on the deck eating some Pirate Booty and enjoying the view. Ruby has become one of our favorite doggy friends (sorry samson, your cute too!)

Allie's favorite thing to do (besides riding the pony) was playing in the backyard!
