This is Allie's actual birthday. The memories of her birth are still fresh in my mind even though it has been 5 years. She was a stinker from the start. She was born doing her own thing and she continues to be that person. I only pray that we are guiding her to be the person that God has created her to be. I love watching her grow and learn new things and sometimes it seems that I can hear her thinking when she pieces information together. The other night I heard her reading to Justin and even though I was excited for the new words she has learned, I was also sad because it will be one less thing that she needs me to do for her. I'm proud of who she is and I can't wait to watch God's plan for her unfold.

Starting this year, we let her pick where she wanted to celebrate her birthday. She picked Chuck E Cheese. We met daddy there after VBS for lunch.
